In the first part of our two part series of the top pools in Las Vegas, we visited a strip club’s iteration on the Las Vegas daylife and partied in extensions of two of Las Vegas’ most prolific nightclubs. In the second and final part, we will take a dive into the crisp blue waters of two of the most popular resort pools on the Las Vegas Strip.
Bare Pool Lounge
It’s no secret that Las Vegas is a city for adults, but few places drive that fact home harder than the Mirage’s Bare Pool Lounge. Set
deep beyond Mirage’s tropical pool setting, guests will find themselves wandering into one of Sin City’s few European-styled pools, where the women are free to bare all and eradicate those pesky tan lines.
If you can look past the sea of gorgeous, topless women, you will find yourself enclosed in a welcoming space, where tall palm trees accent the crisp blue water of the pool beneath them. Make use of the extensive line of chaise lounges or pay a little extra to gain access to Bare’s VIP area, which rests one story above the lower deck. Enjoy a more private infinity pool and covered seating as you overlook the party below or watch a game on the included big screen television.
Bare’s party is not one to try and rival, as its rotation of resident DJs keep the party pumping from open till close. On top of the party atmosphere, Bare offers one of the most intimate settings one could find in a Las Vegas pool area, making it one of the easiest to interact with fellow partiers.
Encore Beach Club
You may not know it, but if you’ve ever found yourself walking down the Las Vegas Strip, right past the Palazzo, and passed by a group of what looks like apartments, than you have been informally introduced to the Encore Beach Club. Overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, these apartment-esque buildings are just one of the many high end amenities you have to look forward to when you party at the Encore.
Let’s not start with the best, though, and start with what can be considered the “lower grade” amenities. When you step foot inside the Encore Beach Club, you will find yourself faced with a sea of daybeds, all lining a crisp, blue expanse of water. These are free, but also first-come first-serve so you have to be quick if you want to soak up some of the desert’s rays in one. If you can’t nab yourself one of these daybeds, you may enjoy simply laying in the pool. The water is refreshing and quite cooling.
Encore Beach Club is much like any Las Vegas nightclub. A DJ, who overlooks the entire thing, fuels the party with a slew of house, hip-hop, and top 40 tunes. You may find yourself getting caught in the beat, so don’t hesitate to join the dancing crowd that typically forms at the center of the pool.
Encore’s most notable feature is its row of bungalow suites, which are exactly what overlooks the Strip. For a price, these somewhat large spaces offer its renters a private enclave complete with its own bathroom, kitchenette area, air conditioning, and a place to lay down and rest if you feel yourself getting a little tired.
